Renowned sports journalist Mahib Abdulhadi has unveiled an unexpected twist in the ongoing winter transfer window, as Zamalek successfully secured the signatures of two formidable players to strengthen their first football team.
In a televised statement on MBC Egypt, Abdulhadi disclosed, “A member of Zamalek’s board has succeeded in obtaining the signatures of two players from a notable and popular club.”
He further clarified, “The club is not based in Cairo, and the two players have signed their contracts to join the White Castle in the purchasing office within the Zamalek club.”
He added, “These two players are Egyptians and will come as a surprise to the Zamalek fans.”
The Board of Directors of the Football Association, led by Jamal Allam, has been informed by Zamalek about its ability to register the players starting from Wednesday, across all levels including ‘Bairam’ (young players), ‘Nasheen’ (youth), and the ‘First Team.’
Zamalek recently resolved the registration crisis by settling all outstanding financial fines, signaling a positive turn for the club as they aim to fortify their squad for upcoming competitions.
