Veteran midfielder and former Raja Casablanca captain Mohsine Moutouali is preparing to embark on a fresh chapter in his career in the Moroccan Professional League.
The experienced playmaker is set to continue his domestic journey after securing a move to Renaissance Zemamra.
According to Le Matin Sports, Moutouali has completed his transfer to Renaissance Zemamra following the termination of his contract with Ittihad Tanger. At 39 years old, the Raja Casablanca native brings a wealth of experience to his new club, having enjoyed a long and varied career both at home and abroad.
Moutouali’s professional journey has included spells with Al-Ahly Tripoli in Libya, as well as Qatari sides Al-Ahly, Al-Wakrah and Al-Rayyan, where he further built his reputation as one of Morocco’s most seasoned midfielders. His return to domestic football is expected to add leadership and creativity to Zemamra’s squad.
Hesport reports that the agreement between Moutouali and Renaissance Zemamra runs for an initial six months, with an option to extend the deal for an additional season.
The club currently sits tenth in the Moroccan Professional League table with eight points from seven matches and will be hoping the former Raja captain’s experience can help drive improved results.
