Charles Kaboré, like the rest of the OM squad, expressed disappointment over the club’s 2-0 defeat against PSG at the Parc. Despite contentious refereeing decisions, including an expulsion and a penalty awarded for a foul outside the area, Kaboré refrained from criticizing the officials, in contrast to his coach Elie Baup.

Kaboré emphasized the need to maintain a strong mindset, citing the team’s resilience when playing with ten men. He acknowledged the challenges faced but urged the team to continue working hard, highlighting that the season is still long, and they must strive to return to victory quickly. While the elimination from the competition was regrettable, Kaboré stressed the importance of not giving up and focusing on the positives, particularly the attackers’ defensive efforts.

On the other hand, Elie Baup expressed his frustration with the refereeing decisions, particularly the penalty awarded for a foul committed outside the area. He stated that this decision significantly influenced the outcome of the match and made it more challenging for the team, emphasizing that playing with ten men against twelve was a considerable disadvantage.

Despite the setbacks, both Kaboré and Baup emphasized the need to work hard, learn from the mistakes, and strive for success in the upcoming matches, underscoring the competitive spirit of Olympique de Marseille.
