The Ismaily football team, led by coach Ihab Galal, concludes its preparations today, Tuesday, for the upcoming match against Enppi in the final round of the League Cup group stage.
The match is scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, at 3:00 PM at Petrosport Stadium.
The Dervishes will conduct their final training session at their home ground before Ihab Galal announces the squad traveling to Cairo for a closed camp tonight.
The Ismaily team welcomes back the efforts of their player, Mohamed Bayoumi, for the Enppi match.
Bayoumi was absent from the Ceramica match due to receiving his third warning.
Ismaily suffered defeats from Al-Dakhlia with a lone goal and then from Ceramica with a scoreline of 3-1, resulting in their exit from the League Cup without securing any points.
Modern Future claimed the title of the first edition of the League Cup for the 2022 season, securing victory in the final match against Ghazl El-Mahalla with a commanding 5-1 score.
Meanwhile, Ceramica holds the title for the second edition from the previous 2023 season, triumphing over Al-Masry with a 4-1 victory in the final match.
The League Cup draw announced four groups, each comprising four teams:
– Group One: Modern Future, Al Ittihad, Smouha, Beladiyat Al-Mahalla
– Group Two: Pyramids, Pharco, Tala’ea Al-Jaish, Zed
– Group Three: Ceramica, Enppi, Ismaily, Al-Dakhlia
– Group Four: Al-Masry, Al-Maqassa, Al Ahly Bank, El Gouna
