Reports indicate that advanced negotiations are underway between Iniesta and the Moroccan federation over a potential technical or administrative role. Options on the table include becoming a sporting director or coach within the Moroccan football structure, allowing Morocco to tap into his vast experience after he retired from playing in 2024.
This move is closely tied to Morocco’s preparations for co-hosting the 2030 World Cup alongside Spain and Portugal, a bid for which Iniesta already serves as an official ambassador.
