The Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) has taken strict measures in response to match-fixing in the country. Four teams involved in fixed matches, where unrealistically high scores were recorded, have been banned. The players and managers of the four teams have been banned for life, and the clubs themselves are suspended for ten years. Additionally, referees and officials who participated in the fixed matches are also banned for life. The NFF has stated that it will publish the names, photos, and details of the individuals involved in the match-fixing scandal.
