Morocco international Abdessamad Ezzalzouli has shared how his outfit can defeat Nigeria in the blockbuster semi-final clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
The Atlas Lions takes on the Super Eagles of Nigeria at the Stade Prince Moulay Abdallah in a fierce encounter on Wednesday, with victory crucial to securing qualification to the finals of the tournament.
While Nigeria remain the only team to have secured victories in all five games at the tournament, the Atlas Lions has four wins and a draw.
Speaking to Al Botola, the former Barcelona youngster highlighted aggression and constant pressure at the key to defeating Nigeria in the high-profile semi-final showdown.
“The key to the Nigeria match is to play aggressively and apply pressure from the start, and that’s what the coach told us.”
“We must implement what is required of us, and we will win, God willing, and qualify for the final.”
“I hope the fans will continue to support us, as this is very important to us. They are like an extra player, and we are sure they will give us this support” he said.
Ezzalzouli, who plies his trade for Real Betis has been established himself as a key member of the Morocco team and is expected to play a huge role against Nigeria.
