Nottingham Forest is considering a move for Morocco international Youssef En-Nesyri in the current winter transfer window.
The Premier League outfit are seeking to bolster their attacker, with the former Sevilla star emerging as a priority target for the club.
But En-Nesyri, who is currently in the books of Turkish giants Fenerbahce is said to be interested in a move to Everton.
En-Nesyri’s agents and Everton remain in talks over a move this winter, with the Merseyside outfit having already submitted an official loan request to secure the attacker.
Fenerbahce, in turn, is open to discussing both a loan agreement and a permanent transfer for the striker. The final decision will depend on the terms of the deal and the player’s own wishes.
En-Nesyri is currently representing his national team at the Africa Cup of Nations, where he has featured in all five matches for Morocco but has yet to register a goal or assist.
He is expected to play a huge role for the Atlas Lions when they take on Nigeria in a high-profile semi-final showdown on Wednesday night.
Before heading to the Africa Cup of Nations, the forward played 25 matches for the Istanbul club, scoring eight goals and providing one assist.
