Berlin-based football club Hertha BSC has officially confirmed the acquisition of Moroccan attacking midfielder Aymen Barkok on loan. The announcement was made via the club’s official website and social media platforms, solidifying Barkok’s association with Hertha BSC until the culmination of the current season, during which he will proudly don the number 18 jersey.
Barkok, having joined 1. FSV Mainz 05 in 2022 as a free agent subsequent to his tenure with Eintracht Frankfurt, has exhibited his prowess in the Bundesliga.
In 13 appearances, the 25-year-old showcased his attacking flair by netting a goal and contributing an assist, accumulating a commendable 312 minutes of on-field action.
