The Democratic Republic of Congo’s national football team, the Leopards, have returned to training with renewed determination after a day of rest. The squad, led by coach Sébastien Desabre, is gearing up for a pivotal match against Morocco scheduled for this Sunday in San Pedro.

With qualification for the next stage of the competition within reach, the Leopards are resolute in their preparations.

Eager to bounce back from a frustrating draw and seeking redemption against Morocco, the same opponent that denied them a spot in the 2021 World Championship in Qatar, the team is approaching the upcoming fixture with focused intent.

Cédric Bakambu, instrumental in setting up a crucial goal in the previous match against Zambia, expressed optimism about the team’s prospects. “We have a point, and qualification is still achievable,” Bakambu affirmed before heading to the training ground.

All players have actively participated, showcasing good physical condition, as depicted by images released by the communications department.

The team spirit remains high, with an evident sense of camaraderie prevailing within the squad.

As the anticipation builds for the showdown against Morocco, fans and pundits alike await a spirited performance from the Leopards as they aim to secure their path to further stages in the competition.

The players’ positive mindset and commitment to redemption will undoubtedly be key factors as they prepare for the critical encounter against Morocco this Sunday.
