Abdessamad Badou bid farewell to the Raja Club Athletic football team after mutually terminating his contract with the club during the current winter transfer window, enabling him to seek opportunities with a new team.
Badou expressed his sentiments on his personal Instagram account, accompanied by a photo from his youth in the club’s green jersey, stating, “I began my journey with Raja with a wish, aspiring to be part of the first-team roster.”
He added, “Thanks to God, my wish and hope were fulfilled.
Forgive me; parting was not in my plans, but it was destined, and what God wills comes to pass.
I entrust you to God, the One who does not lose what He keeps.”
Continuing, he said, “I wish for myself and for you, the Raja fans, the joy of championships.
May joy and happiness remain with us.
Many thanks to my dear teammates for all the support and advice.”
In conclusion, he said, “A successful journey to all, and heartfelt thanks to all the components of Raja… Until we meet again.”
Raja had previously announced on their social media accounts that Badou’s contract had been mutually terminated for a fee of 10 million centimes.
The club had signed Abdessamad Badou, a right-back, in January 2022, from Chabab Al Salmy, for a transfer fee of 120 million centimes.
It’s worth noting that there is a possibility of him exploring a professional experience outside Morocco.
