The board of directors of Zamalek Club, led by club president Hussein Labib, officially announced the transfer of Mohamed Abdelghani, the first-team defender, to Al Ahli Bank.
This move comes after reaching an agreement on all details to complete the deal.
Officials at Zamalek have completed all the necessary procedures for the sale of Mohamed Abdelghani to Al Ahli Bank.
The defender has now officially joined the latter for a season and a half.
Mohamed Abdelghani’s contract with Zamalek was set to expire at the end of the current season.
The White Castle’s board agreed to sell the player during the current winter transfer window.
In a related context, the first football team of Zamalek is preparing to participate in the Emirates Club Friendly Championship in Abu Dhabi, scheduled to take place from January 18 to 24.
The tournament includes the participation of Emirates Club, Al Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, and Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Following this, Zamalek will compete in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside Morocco’s Raja, Saudi Arabia’s Al Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
All matches will be held at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
