Estadão, as reported by FootMercato, alleges that after Spain’s victory against Nigeria, some players wanted to celebrate by bringing a few individuals to their hotel. However, the hotel management refused, leading to dissatisfaction among the players who reportedly reacted by damaging hotel equipment.
The Spanish press has strongly defended the stars of their national team in response to the earlier accusations from Globoesporte. If the claims by Estadão are substantiated, this incident is likely to be a topic of discussion upon the return of the world champions.
