Carlo Ancelotti has been officially confirmed as the new coach of Real Madrid. The former PSG coach, who recently made way for Laurent Blanc, has signed a contract for the next three seasons with the Spanish club. He is set to be presented at the Santiago Bernabeu stadium on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m., followed by his first press conference.
Ancelotti, known for his successful coaching career, arrived at PSG in January 2012 and secured the French championship title in his tenure. The Italian coach has an impressive track record, having won the Champions League twice as a player with AC Milan (1989 and 1990) and twice as a coach with the same club (2003 and 2007).
His primary objective with Real Madrid is to secure victory in the upcoming Champions League. Ancelotti will be joined by Zinedine Zidane and Hernan Crespo as his deputies.
