The Mediterranean Games football tournament, Mersin2013, kicked off before the official opening scheduled for June 24. In the opening match, Tunisia’s U20 team faced Italy, resulting in a 2-2 draw. Driss Mhirissi scored a double for the Tunisian team, opening the scoring in the 50th minute and later equalizing from the penalty spot two minutes from the end of regulation time. The team’s next match is against Libya on Friday.
