Ahmed Salem, the official spokesperson for Zamalek Club, confirmed that the court rejected the appeal to annul the elections of the White Castle.
Salem stated in remarks on the “Zamalkawy” program with presenter Ahmed Ali, broadcasted on Zamalek TV, “We are waiting for the executive form of the judgment regarding Dr. Hossam El-Mendouh to study it.”
He added, “We will consider appealing the verdict concerning Dr. Hossam El-Mendouh.”
The Administrative Judiciary Court had issued a ruling affirming the validity of the election of all members of Zamalek Club’s board of directors.
The court also decided to exclude Hossam El-Mendouh El-Hosseini, nullifying the decision declaring El-Hosseini’s victory in the position of club treasurer and affirming the validity of the decisions declaring the victory of the rest of the board members in the elections held late last year.
The legal proceedings surrounding the Zamalek Club’s elections have been a subject of intense scrutiny and debate within the football community.
The court’s decision to uphold the election results while excluding one member has sparked discussions about the implications for the club’s governance.
As the club’s spokesperson indicates a potential appeal, the legal saga continues, raising questions about the future trajectory of one of Egypt’s prominent football institutions.
