Achraf Habachi has completed a move to Polisportiva Puglianello from FCD Bacigalupo Vasto Marina on a free transfer, signing a contract that runs from 10/12/2025 to 10/12/2026.

The 23-year-old central midfielder leaves Vasto Marina without a transfer fee after the two clubs agreed the switch within the 2025–26 campaign. The deal keeps him in Italy, with Puglianello securing a player who has spent his entire senior career in the Italian game at lower-league level.

Born in Fiorenzuola and holding both Moroccan and Italian nationality, Habachi arrives as a central midfielder by trade, listed in his main position as “Midfield – Central Midfield”. His latest recorded market value on Transfermarkt was set to zero in early 2024, following an earlier peak of €25,000 during his time at Salsomaggiore Calcio. No current market valuation is listed for the move to Puglianello.

The transfer continues a busy recent period for Habachi. In the same 2025–26 season he has already moved twice: first from Castrovillari Calcio to SSD Ischia Calcio, and then from Ischia to Bacigalupo Vasto Marina. Before that, he spent the 2024–25 season at Castrovillari after joining from Salsomaggiore Calcio, where he had been on the books since 2021. His senior pathway began when he progressed from Vigor Carpaneto Giovanili to ASD Carpaneto Chero in 2020, both also in Italy.

Across those clubs, Habachi has remained within the Italian football structure, rather than playing in Morocco despite his dual nationality. The move to Puglianello keeps him in the country and in a league level listed as “N/A”, reflecting the semi-professional tiers where detailed competition labelling is often incomplete but opportunities for regular football are significant.

Puglianello will view the signing as low-risk depth in central midfield, bringing in a player still in his early twenties who has already experienced multiple dressing rooms and tactical systems in Italy. For Habachi, the transfer offers continuity in a familiar footballing culture and the chance to re-establish or increase his market value, which has fluctuated sharply in recent years.

Habachi’s previous spell at Salsomaggiore saw him reach that €25,000 valuation in 2023 before it dropped back to zero in 2024, underlining how quickly fortunes can change in the lower leagues. Staying active on the move from Carpaneto to Salsomaggiore, then to Castrovillari, Ischia, Vasto Marina and now Puglianello has kept him in demand, even as fees have consistently been registered as standard free transfers.

With his latest contract now in place until 10/12/2026, Habachi has a defined window to stabilise his career trajectory. If he can turn regular minutes at Puglianello into consistent performances, the transfer could act as a springboard to further opportunities in Italy’s football pyramid, while also keeping open the longer-term prospect of representing either Morocco or Italy should his progress attract wider attention.
