Victor Osimhen continues to extend his impact far beyond Nigeria, as Dutch international Emmanuel Emegha openly admires the Galatasaray striker’s style and mentality.

The RC Strasbourg forward, who has Nigerian roots but represents the Netherlands at international level, speaks with enthusiasm about Osimhen’s influence on his own game.

Emegha, 22, expresses deep respect for the Super Eagles striker’s all-round qualities and says he has followed Osimhen closely from his Napoli days to his current spell in Turkey. For the young Dutchman, Osimhen represents the complete modern forward.

“Yes, I think he’s fantastic, and I’ve been following him for a long time,” Emegha says. “First at Napoli, now at Galatasaray.

Watch him play: with his back to the defender, he receives a high ball, a pass that’s difficult to control. It doesn’t pose any problem for him. He jumps two meters and controls the ball with his chest. As if it were nothing.”

The admiration highlights Osimhen’s growing global profile, as his performances continue to inspire attackers in Europe’s leading leagues.

Emegha’s praise reflects the qualities that made Osimhen one of Africa’s most celebrated forwards: power, aerial dominance, relentless work rate and a natural instinct for goals.

Emegha also pays attention to other world-class strikers and studies their movements and finishing techniques.

He names Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski and Harry Kane among the players he watches closely, but Osimhen clearly holds a special place in his list of influences.

As Emegha’s own career develops in Ligue 1, his admiration for Osimhen offers another example of how the Nigerian’s rise continues to shape the ambitions of the next generation of European forwards.
