Samsunspor President Yüksel Yıldırım has eulogized Nigeria international Victor Osimhen after inspiring Galatasaray to victory in the Turkish top-flight.

Osimhen produced one of the biggest moments in the top-flight last Friday, scoring a stunning stoppage-time bicycle kick to give Galatasaray a dramatic 3–2 win over Samsunspor at a charged RAMS Park.

The Nigerian striker, recently back from a hamstring injury, scored twice in the match. He added to Leroy Sané’s early opener before sealing victory in the 93rd minute with a spectacular finish that sent the home crowd into chaos.

Samsunspor refused to go quietly. After falling 2–0 behind in the first half, they fought back through Anthony Musaba and Emre Kılınç to level the game and momentarily silence the stadium.

But Osimhen’s late brilliance broke their resistance, as Galatasaray secured maximum points at stake.

“My ears were blocked… We thought the match would end like this. Then Victor Osimhen showed why he’s an €80 million player.” He said.

Osimhen now has five league goals in ten games, strengthening Galatasaray’s title push as they prepare for a crucial run of domestic and Champions League fixtures.
