Ahmed Salem, the official spokesperson for Zamalek Football Club, affirmed that the board of the White Castle has not made any official announcements regarding the new head coach.
Speaking on the “Zamalekawy” program aired on Zamalek TV, Salem stated, “Moataz Jamal is the current head coach of Zamalek and will lead the team during the training camp in the United Arab Emirates.”
Zamalek is gearing up for the friendly tournament at Al-Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi, scheduled from January 18 to 24.
The participating teams include Al-Wahda (UAE), Al-Ittihad (Saudi Arabia), and Umm Salal (Qatar).
Following this, Zamalek will compete in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside Raja Casablanca (Morocco), Al-Ahli (Saudi Arabia), and Wuhan Three Towns (China). The matches will take place at the Al Maktoum Stadium.
Amidst speculations surrounding the managerial position, Ahmed Salem’s clarification emphasizes that Moataz Jamal will be at the helm during the upcoming crucial events in the UAE.
