CAF Confederation Cup: Zamalek announce squad for Kaizer Chiefs clash
Egyptian giants Zamalek have named their squad for Sunday’s CAF Confederation Cup tie against Kaizer Chiefs.
The White Knights arrived in South Africa on Wednesday to begin preparations for the clash at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium.
However, Zamalek will be missing key players, including Salah Mosadek, who is reportedly set to terminate his contract over unpaid wages.
Injuries have also ruled out Ahmed Rabie, Abdullah Al-Saeed, and Nabil Emad Donga.
Coach Ahmed Abdel Raouf’s side comes into the fixture on the back of a 1-0 victory over ZESCO United, while Kaizer Chiefs were edged 2-1 by fellow Egyptian side Al Masry.
