In-demand Karim Adeyemi to prioritising move to English Premier League
Karim Adeyemi is increasingly leaning toward a move to the English Premier League, with reports indicating the Borussia Dortmund winger has set his sights firmly on England for his next career step.
According to Fabrizio Romano, both Manchester United and Arsenal have been given a significant boost in their pursuit.
The attacker is expected to leave Dortmund in 2026, and despite interest from top Serie A clubs, he is believed to be focused solely on joining a major Premier League side.
Romano adds that Adeyemi even turned down a move to Napoli in January 2025 and is uninterested in a switch to Inter, underscoring his desire to play in England.
The winger has reportedly changed agents three times in an effort to steer his future toward the Premier League. With just over 18 months remaining on his contract and no intention of extending his stay at the Signal Iduna Park, Dortmund appear prepared to cash in while his value remains high.
Manchester United have already opened lines of communication with Adeyemi’s agent, Jorge Mendes, as they assess the feasibility of a deal.
Despite strengthening their attack last summer with Benjamin Sesko, Bryan Mbeumo and Matheus Cunha, United still view Adeyemi as a potential long-term addition.
Dortmund, now under Niko Kovac, are said to value the 23-year-old at around €85 million.
