Nigerian striker Tolu Arokodare has thrown his weight behind new head coach Rob Edwards to overturn Wolverhampton Wanderers early season struggles.

Edwards recently replaced Vitor Pereira following a catastrophic start to the Premier League campaign.

Arokodare, who joined Wolves in the summer has expressed full confidence in the former Middlesbrough coach, insisting he can help the club overcome its early-season struggles.

“He’s let us know that he’s going to be there for us, he’s going to fight for us, and we just have to reward him—and reward the fans who have stuck with us from the start of the season until now.” He told the club website.

Wolves have had a difficult start to the 2025/26 Premier League season, a run of poor results that ultimately led to the exit of former head coach Vitor Pereira.

The Wanderers currently sit at the bottom of the league table with just two points, following a 2-0 home defeat to Crystal Palace at Molineux on Saturday. They will now turn their attention to their next league game, an away match against Aston Villa on Sunday.
