Vincent Kompany backs Nicolas Jackson to find form at Bayern Munich

Senegal forward Nicolas Jackson is enjoying life at Bayern Munich even as questions remain over what the future holds for him beyond the current campaign.

Jackson, who joined the German champions on loan from Chelsea last summer, has yet to fully establish himself in the squad, but journalist Rahman Osman reports that the striker is content in Munich and fully committed to making his spell at the club a success.

Osman, quoting a source close to the player, revealed that Jackson’s confidence has grown following an impressive international window.

“Jackson has just come through an impressive international break, scoring two goals for his country and making a strong impression against Brazil last night. Now he’s returning to Germany to continue helping the club, and I can tell you he’s fully focused on that: playing and helping the club achieve its goals, winning major titles. We’ll see what happens at the end of the season,” he said.

The 24-year-old has also developed a strong bond with teammate Luis Díaz and maintains a positive relationship with Bayern manager Vincent Kompany and the club’s representatives.

All parties have agreed to hold off on long-term discussions for now, prioritising stability within the team. While reports suggest that Bayern Munich officials are not planning to sign Jackson on a permanent deal, the forward is said to be happy at the club.
