Al Ahly fans have reason to celebrate as key players return to fitness before their big clash with Algerian side JS Kabylie in the opening round of the African Champions League group stage.

Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, Ahmed Sayed Zizo, Achraf Dari, and Emam Ashour have all been declared match-ready, strengthening the Egyptian team’s options for the battle at Cairo International Stadium.

However, team doctor Ahmed Gaballah confirmed that Hussein El Shahat and Mohamed Abdullah will miss the match due to ongoing rehabilitation. El Shahat is completing the final stages of his recovery from a muscle injury, while Abdullah is working through a knee ligament problem.

Coach Jes Torup has been guiding his squad through tactical sessions, preparing thoroughly for upcoming matches, especially the highly anticipated clash with JS Kabylie. The team finally enjoyed a full roster for training, including their international and youth players after recent absences.

Authorities have approved up to 30,000 fans for the match, boosting morale for the host team. On the other side, JS Kabylie, who sit sixth in the Algerian league, are relying on striker Aymen Mahious and a solid defense.
