Haitham Arabi, the CEO of Future FC, dismissed reports of disputes with Al Ahly during negotiations for the transfer of Omar Kamal to the Red Castle.
Al Ahly had recently announced the acquisition of Omar Kamal as their second summer signing, securing his services until the summer of 2028 from Future FC.
Speaking to Al-Nahar TV, Haitham Arabi stated, “The word ‘difference’ is significant.
Walid Darbass had previously confirmed that the door was open to Al Ahly, as the Red Devils have benefited our team with many players.
However, there were technical decisions that must be respected, either in terms of tactics or management.
Negotiations took time, but there was no dispute.”
“Salah Mohsen is respected. Each player has his vision, and there are internal factors we shouldn’t discuss.
We had more than one plan, and there is no one better than the players we signed, with younger average ages.
Omar Kamal had the desire to move to Al Ahly, and I wish him success,” Arabi added.
“I thank Amir Tawfik.
In the last 48 hours before announcing the deal, we were close to aligning perspectives to finalize the matter, and everyone benefited.
I enjoyed working with him.
Everyone was cooperative, including Adly El Keiy, and Khaled Bibo.
We found significant cooperation,” he continued.
Regarding football being a competition, Arabi affirmed, “Naturally, I want Modern Future to win when facing Al Ahly; otherwise, I won’t have a conscience.
But first and foremost, there is sportsmanship.
I have often criticized Pyramids, but I always have a certain perspective.
Yet, after they defeated us, I went and congratulated the technical management.
The same happened with Enppi and Zamalek because I represent Modern Future.”
Asked about accusations from some Zamalek fans of excessive collaboration between Future and Al Ahly due to his presence, Arabi replied, “No official in any club would love another club more than the one they work for.
I am devoted to Al Ahly.
However, what is in the heart remains in the heart.
Both Dr. Walid and I asked Omar Kamal about his desire, and it was Al Ahly.
We executed the player’s wish according to the club’s policy, and we acquired three players from the Red Castles.
Someday, you will know that an official from Zamalek spoke to me, and I dealt with the utmost respect.

He continued, “Does Al Ahly have the right to recall loaned players? No, the loan duration is three and a half years.

Addressing rumors about Zamalek negotiating for Nasser Maher, Arabi stated, “The player attended training today, and there is no truth to the rumors about his absence from training.

In conclusion, he stated, “Has Zamalek negotiated for Omar Kamal? Officially, it didn’t happen.
