Maatamad Gamal, the head coach of the first football team at Zamalek Club, conducted a session with the players in the presence of Abdelwahid El-Sayed, the football director, as part of the preparations to equip the players during the current international break.
The session included discussions led by the head coach about the upcoming period and the program that will be implemented in the days leading up to the team’s departure to the United Arab Emirates for an external training camp.
During his talk with the players, Maatamad Gamal explained some technical phrases intended to be implemented during the training, in addition to clarifying some important points regarding the playing style.
Zamalek is gearing up for participation in the friendly tournament of the UAE’s Al-Wahda Club in Abu Dhabi, scheduled to take place from January 18 to 24.
The tournament will feature the participation of Al-Wahda and Al-Ittihad from Saudi Arabia, as well as Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Following that, Zamalek will participate in the Dubai Challenge Cup from January 26 to 28, alongside Morocco’s Raja Casablanca, Saudi Arabia’s Al-Ahli, and China’s Wuhan Three Towns.
The matches will be held at Al-Maktoum Stadium.
