Dutch international Emmanuel Emegha is facing a prolonged injury recovery, undermining his return to action at Strasbourg.

Emegha has had a limited game time in the current campaign due to persistent injury setbacks. Since signing a pre-contract with Chelsea, the forward has barely featured for the French Ligue 1 outfit.

The enterprising forward is currently struggling with a hamstring injury sustained during their Ligue 1 clash against Olympique Marseille last month. This season, Emegha has two injuries.

According to reports in France, a return to action is not imminent for the Dutch-Nigeria international forward. He will not be available for the November international, with his recovery extended to November 22.

Emegha could mark his return from injury in the French Ligue 1 clash against RC Lens slated towards November ending.

Meanwhile, Joaquin Panichelli continues to bang in the goals for Strasbourg in the absence of Emegha. The Argentine has now scored nine in Ligue 1 since making the move to Alsace in the summer.
