Ademola Lookman named MoTM after starring with a goal in Atalanta’s 1-1 draw with AC Milan

Nigerian forward Ademola Lookman was named Man of the Match (MoTM) on Tuesday night after a top performance for Atalanta in their 1-1 draw with AC Milan in the Italian Serie A.

The Nigerian forward was instrumental in Atalanta’s attacking play and produced a moment of brilliance in the 35th minute to cancel out Milan’s early lead.

After receiving a precise pass from Mario Pašalić, Lookman burst into the box and fired a powerful shot into the top of the net, leaving goalkeeper Mike Maignan with no chance.

AC Milan had taken the lead in the 4th minute through Samuele Ricci, whose long-range strike found the bottom corner. But Lookman’s equaliser shifted the momentum in Atalanta’s favour, with the forward constantly troubling the Milan defence throughout the game.

His overall display, combining skill, pace and creativity, earned him the Man of the Match honour as Atalanta picked up a valuable point.
