In-form Orlando Pirates midfielder Masindi Nemtajela named in South Africa provisional squad for Zambia friendly
In-form Orlando Pirates midfielder Masindi Nemtajela has been named in the South Africa squad for the upcoming friendly against Zambia.
The former Marumo Gallants midfielder has been one of the brightest signings for Pirates with impressive showings in the central midfield for Abdeslam Ouaddou side.
His outstanding display did not go unnoticed, earning him a place in Hugo Broos provisional list for the friendly slated for November 2025.
The 23-year-old was a standout performer for Orlando Pirates in their spirited 3-0 home win over ST Eloi Lupopo. He scored the first goal as the side canceled out the first leg deficit.
Meanwhile, the South African giants fell to the Congolese side on penalties last Saturday, as they missed out on the group stage of the CAF Champions Leagur this season.
The nippy and hard-running player would hope to make the final squad as Bafana coach plans to start selecting his squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
