Lamine Yamal will be 100 percent ready for Real Madrid clash – Barcelona coach Hansi Flick
Head coach of Barcelona Hansi Flick has allayed Lamine Yamal injury fears ahead of the crucial Spanish La Liga game against Real Madrid.
In a high-stake clash on Sunday, the Los Blancos will play host to the Catalan giants in matchday 10 of the Spanish top-flight.
The Spain international of Morocco and Equatorial Guinea descent, who has been inconsistent in recent times for Barcelona featured on Tuesday as his outfit cruised to an emphatic 6-1 home victory over Olympiacos in the Champions League.
Yamal was subbed off in the second half of the match, raising concerns about his fitness ahead of the El Clasico this weekend.
However, Hansi Flick has provided a positive update about the attacker, insisting he will be 100 percent ready for the Spanish top-liner.
“He has no physical issues whatsoever. On Sunday, it will be a different Lamine, he will be 100 percent ready. Last year, Lamine proved himself in big matches, and I have no doubt he’ll do it again,” Flick said.
Yamal registered his name on the scoresheet for Barcelona, contributing to the 6-1 mauling of the Greek powerhouse.
