Senegalese international Abdoulaye Diédhiou has completed a move to Congolese outfit TP Mazembe, marking a significant move in his career.

Diédhiou joins the Congolese outfit on a two-year deal from Jaraaf de Dakar and is expected to work under Lamine Ndiaye.

With his wealth of experience, the 25-year-old centre-back will play a huge role for TP Mazembe, who are keen on making a meaningful impact in the current campaign.

Diédhiou will be making his debut in the Congolese league, a major new step in his career after shining in the Senegalese Ligue 1 and winning the national title this season.

The defender was instrumental when Senegal home-based team secured the 2023 Championship for African Nations (CHAN) tournament.

Since making his debut for Senegal at the international level, the defender racked up just three appearances without scoring or assisting a goal.
