Everton manager David Moyes hails Senegal star Iliman Ndiaye

Everton manager David Moyes has heaped praise on Senegal international Iliman Ndiaye following his outstanding performance against Manchester City.

The 25-year-old winger started and played for 86 minutes as the Toffees succumbed to a 2-0 away defeat to Manchester City at the weekends.

Despite his outfit defeat, Ndiaye emerged as one of the outstanding performers for Everton in the much-anticipated clash held at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday.

After the game, the Scottish tactician expressed admiration about the performance of the Senegalese international.

“I thought Ili’s performance in the first half was exceptional. He was an exceptional player at that point in the match,” said David Moyes.

This season, the 25-year-old attacker has made eight appearances for Everton in the Premier League, scoring three goals and providing an assist across the period.

Ndiaye, who is under contract until summer 2029 at Everton has made 31 appearances for the Senegal national team, scoring three goals in the process.
