According to FIFA marketing director Thierry Weil, the first tickets for the 2014 World Cup in Brazil will be on sale starting August 20. This information was revealed on the sidelines of the presentation of the Confederations Cup on Tuesday. The official announcement with all the details about ticket sales is expected on July 1. The Confederations Cup, a prelude to the World Cup, is scheduled to take place in Brazil from June 15 to 30.
