The sports committee of Tanta Sporting Club has successfully finalized an agreement with Abdul Aal Mahmoud, the goalkeeper of Cairo’s Nasr, securing his services for two and a half seasons.
This signing marks the club’s initial move in the winter transfer market as they bolster their ranks with the addition of the skilled goalkeeper to the squad under the leadership of Mr. El-Badawi.
The negotiation session, led by committee head Faez Areebi and his deputy, Mohamed Abu Freekha, along with Treasurer Counselor Mohamed Sadek, and committee member Dr. Ahmed Shams, proved fruitful.
The committee engaged in discussions with the player and his representative within the club, ultimately securing his signature for a contract spanning two and a half seasons, effective from January of the current year.
Abdul Aal Mahmoud, commonly known as Mido, stands out as one of the premier goalkeepers in Nasr Cairo.
His transfer to Tanta follows his noteworthy contributions to Nasr, and he brings a wealth of experience having previously played for clubs such as Zed and Goldie.
