Bournemouth poised to keep Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo amid growing interest
Premier League outfit AFC Bournemouth are determined to keep Ghana international Antoine Semenyo amid growing interest.
Despite attracting several interest in the summer, the Black Stars attacker opted to sign a new deal, keeping him at the Cherries until 2030.
Semenyo was as a top transfer target for Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur during the summer transfer window.
Bournemouth is bracing themselves for a fresh wave of bids for the Ghana international as the winter window approaches, having rebuffed summer offers.
Currently, Bournemouth holds all the cards on the forward’s future after recently signing a new deal at the club. With no release clause in his current contract, clubs who are interested in the former Bristol City will have to meet Bournemouth’s terms and stump up £70 million.
Amid growing interest in the attacker, Bournemouth insists the Ghana international will be leaving the club in the foreseeable future.
The Cherries are determined to keep the former Bristol City marksman at the club, viewing him as a valuable asset to the club’s project.
Semenyo has been outstanding since the commencement of the 2025/26 Premier League campaign, scoring six goals and providing three assists in seven appearances.
