German Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig have slapped a €60 million price tag on France international of Angolan descent Castello Lukeba.

Lukeba is one of the most sought-after players in Europe, with Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United, and Real Madrid expressing interest in the Frenchman due to his swashbulcking performance.

The 22-year-old continues to impress with his performances in the Bundesliga, establishing himself as one of the continent’s most promising young defenders.

Liverpool, who scouts first took notice of Lukeba last summer remains interested in the defender and will have to battle it out with several top clubs to secure the signature of the in-demand player.

Despite his €90 million release clause, Leipzig are reportedly willing to consider offers in the region of €60 million. The German club understands that this more realistic valuation could attract serious suitors.

Lukeba joined Leipzig in summer 2023 and has since established himself as a key member of the team, with his current contract expected to expire in summer 2029.

This season, the rock-solid defender has made seven appearances across competitions for the Bundesliga outfit.
