German giants Bayern Munich are reportedly keen on extending the loan deal for Senegalese striker Nicolas Jackson beyond its current term.

According to TBR Football, the Bundesliga champions are keen on agreeing on another deal that could make his stay permanent.

While an option worth around €65 million would have been triggered after 40 appearances, Jackson’s participation in the Africa Cup of Nations next year makes it unlikely he will reach that threshold. Still, Bayern’s desire to keep him is clear.

Club officials have been impressed by Jackson’s attitude, commitment, and smooth adaptation to life in Munich. His willingness to make financial concessions for the move has also left a strong impression, while the striker himself is said to feel settled at the club.

Chelsea, who currently own Jackson’s rights, are reportedly looking to recruit new strikers and are unlikely to block a transfer.

Bayern, however, hope to negotiate a fee lower than the initially agreed €65 million.

Talks between Bayern Munich and Chelsea are expected early as January.
