Morocco giants Raja Casablanca set sights on Simba SC coach Fadlu Davids

Morocco giants Raja Casablanca have set their sights on appointing Simba SC gaffer Fadlu Davids as head coach following a string of an unimpressive results at the club.

The 44-year-old tactician has been tipped to replace Lassaad Chabbi, who is facing a sack at the club. Raja Casablanca appears not to be impressed with the performance of their coach after just two games into the campaign and are now considering hiring a new gaffer.

Fadlu Davids, who is a South African tactician has emerged as a top priority for the Raja Casablanca coaching job.

Simba SC are bent on keeping Fadlu Davids, but a tempting offer from Raja could convince the 44-year-old coach to take up the challenge and make a return to Casablanca.

Davids previously worked at Raja Casablanca, serving as an assistant coach during the 2023/2024 season before moving to Tanzania.

The Cape Town native has been in the books of the Tanzanian giants since July 2024. He has led the club in 13 matches, recording 7 wins, 3 draws and 3 defeats.

Raja Casablanca currently sits fourth in the Moroccan Botola standings, having collected 4 points from their first two matches.
