Nicolas Jackson’s agent backs Bayern Munich to meet €65m fee with confidence in striker’s potential
Nicolas Jackson’s agent, Ali Barat, has expressed strong belief that Bayern Munich will have no hesitation in paying €65 million to secure the Senegalese forward permanently from Chelsea.
Jackson joined Bayern on loan in the summer, with the deal including both a mandatory clause under certain conditions and an option to buy at the set price. While the figure might appear steep, Barat is convinced that the Bundesliga champions will make the deal permanent if his client shines this season.
“You know, it’s a long season. They have a mandatory option, but also an option at €65 million. I think if Nico Jackson delivers this season, given the current market price for strikers, they should buy him,” Barat told RMC Sport, as cited by FCB Inside.
He added that the outcome will depend on “how Jackson adapts and performs. But normally, given his potential, I don’t think they’ll have any problem paying €65 million at the end of the summer.”
