Emad El Nahhas celebrates first Al Ahly victory and stands firm on striker Nejc Gradisar

Emad El Nahhas could not hide his delight after guiding Al Ahly to their first win of the Egyptian Premier League season, a narrow but vital 1-0 success over Ceramica Cleopatra in the seventh round.

For the coach, the three points were more than just a result, they were proof that his squad is starting to click.

“I congratulate the fans on our first win. It’s true that we missed many opportunities, but the positive aspect is our ability to create chances and reach the opponent’s goal. We will work to improve our ability to exploit them in upcoming matches,” Nahhas said.

Questions about striker Nejc Gradisar were dismissed quickly. “This is not true. Nejc Gradisar is a foreign player, and if we weren’t convinced of his abilities, he wouldn’t have been with us in the first place. We are confident in all the players on the current roster.”
