France forward of Cameroonian descent, Kylian Mbappé, reached another remarkable milestone on Tuesday night, scoring his 50th goal for Real Madrid in their 2-1 Champions League victory over Olympique Marseille at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The French superstar netted twice to power Los Blancos to victory, bringing his tally to 50 goals in just 64 appearances since joining from Paris Saint-Germain in 2024. His brace not only secured the win but also underlined his status as Madrid’s talisman this season.

Despite being reduced to 10 men following Dani Carvajal’s red card, Madrid showed resilience, with Mbappé once again rising to the occasion.

After the match, the forward reflected on the team’s fighting spirit.

“This is the Bernabéu. Even if we have to play with 10 or 9 men, we will have our moment – and that’s exactly what happened.

“The same thing happened to us against La Real. We have to know how to suffer when we’re outnumbered,” Mbappe said.
