Orbit College FC breaks silence amid dispute between coach Pogiso Mahoye and striker Saleng
Orbit College have denied apologizing to attacker Monnapule Saleng over coach Pogiso Mahoye recent criticism.
Saleng, who is on loan from Orlando Pirate was criticized by the Orbit College tactician, claiming the side perform better without the South African star.
Mahoye remarked that without Saleng, the squad—especially the younger players—performed at a higher level, whereas his presence on the field brought the overall game down, with the comment sparking outrage among fans.
Earlier reports suggested the newly promoted South African Premier League outfit has issued an apology to the player, while offering massive support to him.
In a dramatic turn of an event, Orbit College have denied the purported apology to the enterprising South African forward.
However, the club has denied such claims, while urging the fans to treat it with the needed contempt it deserves.
Saleng is on loan at Orbit College, following a breakdown in relationship with Orlando Pirates.
