Al-Nahhas promises to bring Al Ahly back on track with unity and hope

Emad Al-Nahhas has stepped into the spotlight at a critical moment, carrying the hopes of Al Ahly fans after the sudden exit of Jose Riveiro.

Now trusted as interim coach, he has promised to restore belief and put the Egyptian giants on the right path.

“We promise the Al Ahly fans and management that we will correct the course and put the team on the right track,” Al-Nahhas said in televised statements on Wednesday. “The most appropriate players for the current phase of the Al Ahly team have been selected from among the club’s youth.”

For Al-Nahhas, the challenge is as much about spirit as results. “I hope my career with Al Ahly continues, and I am honored to work even for one day. We are at the beginning of the season, and there are great opportunities to achieve everything.”

He stressed unity within the squad. “There is no rebellion from any Al Ahly player due to not participating in the first team.”

Al-Nahhas now faces the task of lifting morale while blending youth with experience to revive Al Ahly’s season.
