Roma’s El Aynaoui handed maiden Morocco call up as Regragui announce 27-man squad for qualifiers
AS Roma midfielder Neil El Aynaoui has been included in the Morocco squad for the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Morocco will face Niger on September 5 before their clash against Zambia scheduled for September 8, 2025.
Ahead of the games, head coach Walid Regragui has unveiled a 27-man squad, handing debut call up to AS Roma midfielder El Aynaoui.
The 24-year-old recently switched allegiance to represent to play for Morocco at the expense of France. Meanwhile, Al Ain’s striker Soufiane Rahimi was left out.

Goalkeepers: Yassine Bounou, Munir El Mohammadi, Mehdi El Harrar.
Defense: Achraf Hakimi, Achraf Dari, Nayef Aguerd, Adam Masina, Jawad El Yamiq, Omar El Hilali, Youssef Belamri, Mohamed Chibi, Sofiane El Karouani.
