Franco-Congolese midfielder Eduardo Camavinga turns down tempting offer from Saudi Arabia
France international of DR Congo descent Eduardo Camavinga has turned down a bumper offer from an unnamed Saudi Arabia club in the current transfer window.
The 22-year-old midfielder, who joined Real Madrid in summer 2021 has yet to make an appearance under new manager Xabi Alonso due to an injury setback.
In an attempt to lure Camavinga this summer, a club from Saudi Arabia has submitted a tempting offer to secure the services of the midfielder.
However, the Franco-Congolese midfielder is said to have rejected the offer as he seeks to remain at Real Madrid in the current season.
Camavinga is hoping to make a swift recovery from injury in order to join his Real Madrid teammates for the 2025/26 football campaign.
Per reports, Camavinga is a key player for coach Xabi Alonso, and has no intention of letting him leave this summer.
The Spanish gaffer will be counting on Camavinga to control the tempo of matches for Real Madrid this season.
His current contract with the Spanish giants is expected to elapse in the summer of 2029.
