England defender of Sierra Leonean descent, Trevoh Chalobah, is reportedly a transfer target of German giants Borussia Dortmund.

The campaign has yet to begin, but BVB are already dealing with injuries that have forced the club to look to the Premier League for solutions.

According to Sky, Dortmund are close to finalizing a loan deal for Chelsea’s Argentine defender Aarón Anselmino, who has already agreed to the move.

However, the deal hinges on Dortmund completing the permanent signing of Carney Chukwuemeka first. This could open the door for more Chelsea players to make the switch to Germany.

Journalist Christian Falk reports that Chalobah, 26, is also under consideration. Known for his versatility, Chalobah is capable of playing both at center-back and in defensive midfield.

Although his Chelsea contract runs until 2028, a permanent transfer appears unlikely. Dortmund are more likely to pursue a loan signing.
