Bournemouth set €40m price tag on Burkinabè forward Dango Ouattara amid transfer interest

English club Brentford are on the verge of signing Burkina Faso forward Dango Ouattara.

The English Premier League club has reached an agreement with Bournemouth to sign winger Dango Ouattara for a fixed fee of £37 million plus potential bonuses, according to Fabrizio Romano.

Ouattara, 23, eager to join the Bees, has been granted permission to travel for his medical, accompanied by his agent.

The pacey forward joined Bournemouth from Lorient in January 2023 and enjoyed a productive campaign last season, scoring nine goals and providing four assists in 37 appearances.

This signing will surpass Brentford’s previous record fee of £30 million and is aimed at filling the void left by Bryan Mbeumo’s move to Manchester United.

The deal is expected to be finalised once Ouattara passes his medical.
