Raja Casablanca has made a statement in Moroccan football by signing striker Ismail Khafi, directly from their long-time rivals Wydad Casablanca.
Khafi joins the Green Eagles on a free transfer following his departure from Kuwaiti side Al-Qadisiyah.
The forward has committed to a two-year deal, with financial terms of the contract remaining undisclosed.
Khafi, who began his career at Mouloudia Oujda and later played for Ittihad Tangier, is known for his sharp goal-scoring instincts and has quickly become a recognised figure in Moroccan football.
His arrival marks Raja’s 12th signing of the summer transfer window as the club pushes to strengthen its squad and mount a serious challenge for the top spots in the league.
