The 23-year-old attacker has become a subject of interest for several clubs in the ongoing transfer window, with Premier League giants Manchester City expressing huge interest in Akliouche.

The Premier League outfit has recently rekindle their interest in the forward as they seeks to further bolster their for the 2025/26 campaign.

Despite being tipped for a move this summer, Akliouche, one of the most sought-after players has yet to secure a move, just one day to the start of the French Ligue 1 season.

However, Monaco CEO, Thiago Scuro says the club’s intention is to keep the talented winger at the club for the new season.

“He is confident and settled here in Monaco. No one in a rush. One more season beneficial for him too. Our ambition is that he stays.” Said Scuro.

However, Monaco’s asking price remains €70m, which has put off some clubs from making more concrete approaches. And Monaco will only sell on their terms, given their desire for the player to stay
